The Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) is a Medicaid-funded program that allows children under 21 with medical needs or disabilities to receive skilled nursing and personal care services at home — at no cost to families.

At Southern Healthcare Services, we guide families through every step of the GAPP application and approval process. Our team ensures your child receives the support they need as quickly as possible — often within just a few weeks.

Families can choose to have a dedicated nurse or caregiver assigned by Southern Healthcare Services, or in some cases, a parent or relative may provide care and receive compensation through GAPP.

Together, our nurses, families, and your child’s physician collaborate to build a personalized care plan that promotes comfort, independence, and well-being in the place children thrive most — home.
